I'm a graduate student. I've lived in the southern US my whole life and I really want to move. I'm curious about what life is like in Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and Deutschland. I can understand some German, and I can speak a little, though crudely. I'm obsessed with computer history. I've thought that I was interested in computer science and information science, but really I'm just fascinated with computer history. For example, my interest in Steins;Gate is largely fueled by the introduction of the "IBN" *coughIBM* 5100 as a major part of the early story line. Look at this baby:

Isn't she gorgeous? *pets old computer*. I kind of want one someday. I can spend hours browsing websites like this one (the source of that ^ photo) - click. So...yeah. I wish that my interest in computer history could be useful in arena's other than academia. Maybe it will be someday!

Anyway, another love of mine is Tokio Hotel. Without this group...I would be so lost. I have met some very amazing people in this fandom who I hope will be life-long friends, and I have discovered some things about myself that I probably wouldn't have otherwise. I hope to be on the Tokio Hotel bandwagon for the long haul!

I'm always on the lookout for new connections with people, so if you want to chat, I'm more than open to it. I do have a history that makes me really sensitive about certain subjects, and I have an easy trigger when it comes to things that make me super emotional. I'm just a super emotional kinda person. So I guess I just wanted to warn you ahead of time - I'm sensitive, I have a lot of feelings, and I can be quite guarded. If you're socially conservative and have problems with LGBTQ+ identified individuals, I don't think we will have a very productive friendship. I would be more than happy to be there for you, but I don't think it would be a very healthy friendship. If you're open to educating yourself, though, or learning more about someone you never thought you would, then I think we could have a very productive relationship.

Anyway, I guess I've written enough! I'd love to have a conversation or two with you <3!
